Defy me (book in the shatter me series)
While I was reading this I was constantly crying. This book took a mental tool on me emotionally. While the MC was being tortured by her own blood was just so wrong and sad. It was a great book tho.
How tf do you cry over a book
a book that made me cry was harry potter and the order of the phoenix, at the last few chapters
For All ladies/ Parents is the Life saving book called GIFT OF FEAR by GAVIN DE BECKER.
Soft rain was mine..
In my humble opinion- it’s not ok for people- especially innocent kids and young people- hell even some adults- who have no trauma – (and people there are some of us out there.)to be exposed to (in the form of books and movies -) trauma they have never experienced themselves. This will become events lodged in their minds that will shape their thinking and possibly haunt and terrorize them.
I read wonder, a children’s book, but still made me feel nauseous and emotionally numb while reading it. The book has changed my perspective of life…
Long ass intro
Nah for me I just got any book I read destroying me-
Verity is also worth it
Mine:
The ones we burn (so long, but no regrets)
They both die at the end
The first to die at the end
Just finished nightingale… let’s just say the last 100 pages consisted of nonstop tears
Try Julie Hall's Supernova. There is a series that starts with Stealing Embers. Three books then read Supernova. I was balling. She makes you care for the bad guy. I didn't think it was possible. Also she has a series called the Life After series. The last book will blow your mind! 🤯
After A Little Life, I never want to read a Trauma Novel again, especially about self harm .
You really should put content warnings on A Little Life, the books not a joke
Me literally being 11 and reading young adult books 😅
My History and other textbook didnt kill me emotionally but mentally, physically, psychologically😂
For me its:
If he had been with me
All the light we cannot see
All the bright places

My Cambridge physics textbook
For me it was they both die at the end + the first to die at the end.
The book that emotionally breaked me was Heaven Official's Blessing, the second flashback was… traumatizing
Honestly all the bright places destroyed me

For me it’s gotta be All The Bright Places and If He Had Been With Me. ATBP left me sobbing for about 20 minutes and IHHBWM left me staring at the wall with tears silently flowing down my eyes. I don’t think I’ll ever stop recommending these books because they’re that good. Also the Scythe series is fcking amazing like it’s so engaging and even tho books are long, it goes by so so so quick. The plot twist in the first book and the plot twist in the middle of the second book were so so so good
the kite runner. it was so sad and devastating but so good
