before cell phones and the internet- chalk and maps and pencils and telegraphs- how charming and exciting
Very well done film. Thank you for posting, CCC.
The only thing the FBI can catch is an STD.
Uff. George Raft was SUCH a WOODEN ACTOR I can only imagine his career was always in danger of termite infestation. This is the thrs or fourth film of his Ive watched and Everytime he's largely unwatchable and unconvincing as the lead. Clearly was the Steven Segal of his generation.
Wow what a great movie!!! I didn't miss a second of it, and whatever became of that beautiful and smart Sally Gray? I almost forgot that she was an English or British Actress, and not an American Actress. She used what I call, alot of "Good Old Fashioned Common Sense" in her job. I Loved this Movie, just Loved it, and Thanks For Presenting It For Us! ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊❤❤❤
Endless running up and down stairs, car chases, walking into and out of buildings! Weak plot. George Raft playing Raymond Chandler hero. Good on atmosphere.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
No one 'knows' Michael grand

Is mentioned 😂😂😂😂

HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED
Thx CCC 👍🇺🇸👍
Movies used to be made for adults, not all of the crappy movies, now, that are based on toys, such as Legos, and computer games, such as Mario Brothers, etc. Now, it is hard to find a new movie that isn't all scriptless special effects and bad acting. Flying was enjoyable, except that passengers were allowed to smoke at any seat. Telephones were fastened to the wall, and there was no Concern of being hacked by China. People didn't have their bodies covered in obnoxious graffiti, including grandmothers, no body piercings. Presidents were pro-Soviet Russia puppets, grifters, and sexual predators.
Cigar store Indian performance by George Raft, as always.
Pytam,skąd mieli zdjęcie pana Rossa?Nie mieli monitoringu,ani telefonów komórkowych.🤳🏻😂
Talk about a NON leading man. It was so cringe when she tried to look at him with loving eyes. Usually I call out bad acting, this time, I will give the actor a pass.
At the beginning when they broadcasted his discrimination of 5'11" I laughed. More like 5'5" ha
Boy, that Sally Grey was hot. At least in this movie
Me encantan estas pelis, lo máximo, gracias
Gee, I wish George Raft was more like Jim Carey…
(Saymany commentators)
😂😂😂🎉😂😂😂
George Raft was an under rated actor. His films fir Paramount in the 30s were quite good. He started out as a hoofer so if you get a chance, watch Bolero. He shows off his dancing skills. By the 50she acted for the money but he still had skill in delivering dialogue. One of my favorite movies of his that he starred in was Mr Ace. He had “it” when it came to sex appeal. Most of his earlier films are on YouTube.
Worth it for the vintage English rides; and street shots of Old London….
REALLY enjoying all the black and whites! Thank you for sharing them:D
Ohhhh pls get better yawn 💤mediocre script but nice scenes of post-war London.
